Reminder to the Economic Pundits:

This is a quick reminder to the pundits that try and pit labor (*of those employed*) against capitalists. Typically, over the long run and generally speaking, labor does not benefit on the backs of the rich or corporations, nor the other way around. Labor’s share of GDP is tightly held between about 65% and 70%. This includes all compensation, a little chart shown below:

So, sorry the Ed Show and much of Fox News programming, we don’t all get what we want in debates. Generically speaking, labor has held it’s own in it’s proportion of income in GDP. Granted, this is a rough and broad spectrum of labor, maybe I should dissect this more, but alas for now….
